Charlotte Agenda Names College Alumni To “30 Under 30” List
Two UNC Charlotte alumni from the College of Liberal Arts & Sciences are among Charlotte Agenda’s 2017 class of “30 Under 30.” These individuals are “young people who are leaving their marks on the city like never before,” according to Charlotte Agenda.
Ashley Pittman Bookout (’11) is owner and founder of Bookout Blooms. She earned a bachelor’s degree in English.
Ash Williams (’15, ’16) is a local community organizer. Williams completed a bachelor’s degree in philosophy and a master’s degree in Ethics and Applied Philosophy from UNC Charlotte.
Other UNC Charlotte alums who also made the list from other colleges are:
Laura Knight Beebe (’13) is art director at BooneOakley. She earned a bachelor’s degree in fine arts.
Brian Mister (’13) completed a bachelor’s degree in business administration. He is marketing director of Run for Your Life and the Novant Health Charlotte Marathon.
Mellisa Oliver (’12) is a civil engineering designer at LandDesign. Oliver holds a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from the University.
Ghada Ternanni (’16) is a finance management analyst for Bank of America. Her bachelor’s degree is in business administration.
