Katherine Idzoriek discusses sweltering temperatures on Charlotte Talks

Katherine Idzoriek, assistant professor of geography and community planning in the Department of Earth, Environmental and Geographical Sciences was a panelist on an episode of WFAE’s Charlotte Talks with Mike Collins entitled “As sweltering temperatures continue, how to stay healthy and prepare for the future.”

Idzoriek discussed the extreme heat and the Charlotte Heat Mappers event scheduled for Sunday, July 14, which will gather temperature and humidity data across 100 square miles of Charlotte with volunteer citizen scientists.
