Camille Endacott, Ph.D., assistant professor of communication studies and organizational science, was featured in WCNC’s ‘Here’s how digital solutions have evolved since the COVID-19 pandemic’ alongside Reginald Silver, Ph.D., professor in the Belk College of Business

Five years after the start of the pandemic caused the world to quickly adapt to the new reality of daily life, technological tools like virtual meetings, online learning, and telemedicine remain integral parts of education, business, and healthcare.

As organizations shifted to remote work and integrating AI into workflows, “they found that we are more adaptable than we think,” Endacott said. “There are still ways to have informal communication while remote, still ways to get to know your coworkers, but it takes longer.”
