National Science Foundation Workshop
UNC Charlotte is hosting a National Science Foundation (NSF) Directorate for Social, Behavioral and Economic Sciences (SBE) Workshop on Friday, October 25, 2024, from 12:00 noon until 4:00 p.m. at the Harris Alumni Center at Johnson Glen (8688 Johnson Alumni Way, Charlotte, NC 28262). Faculty, graduate students, and staff from regional institutions are invited and should register by October 18.
Facilitated by Dr. Naomi Hall-Byers, program officer in the Division of Social & Economic Sciences in NSF’s Directorate for Social, Behavioral and Economic Sciences, the workshop will provide an overview of SBE programs and special NSF initiatives for social, behavioral, and economic scientists, and discuss strategies for writing competitive proposals. The event also includes a networking lunch and an opportunity to meet with Dr. Hall-Byers for an individual/small group meeting.
