Hannah Javidi ’18 Named to Forbes 30 under 30 list
Hannah Javidi ’18 has been named to the 2025 Forbes 30 under 30 list for notable achievements in healthcare in North America. Forbes named Javidi to the list for her creation of a digital program that teaches teens about sexual consent.
Alum Sam khashman named to Innovator power 100 list
The Charlotte Business Journal named the newest members of the Power 100: Big Ideas for Charlotte’s Future. The 2024 list focuses on people who are innovators in methods, ideas or products.
Sam Khashman ’95, earned a bachelor’s degree from UNC Charlotte in German and founded Technology Partners Inc., doing business as ImagineSoftware.
Khashman serves as President and CEO of ImagineSoftware, with a vision of creating workflow-centric computer systems for the health-care sector. The company says it now supports more than 4,000 practices, including several in the Charlotte area that serve patients in the region’s two largest health-care systems, Atrium Health and Novant Health.

CHESS Alumni recognized with women in business awards
The Charlotte Business Journal recognized outstanding leaders in the Charlotte region during their annual Women in Business Awards program. Over the past 30 years, this event has honored women for their innovation and vision who make an impact across a variety of industries.
The 2024 class includes two UNC Charlotte alumnae: LaRita Barber ’90, and Nikki Kral ’10. Barber earned a master’s degree in public administration and Kral earned a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice & criminology.
5 CHESS grads honored with Gold alumni ’10 under ten’ award
The UNC Charlotte Alumni Association recognizes young alumni with the annual 10 Under Ten awards, for representing their colleges and UNC Charlotte, as well as their professional and personal communities with great pride and achievement.
